Lesson 2: Vocabulary Enhancement - Synonyms and Antonyms

In this lesson, we will focus on expanding your vocabulary by learning synonyms (words with similar meanings) and antonyms (words with opposite meanings).

Synonyms:

  • Big (adj) - Synonyms: large, huge, enormous, massive, gigantic.
  • Happy (adj) - Synonyms: joyful, delighted, content, elated, ecstatic.
  • Angry (adj) - Synonyms: furious, enraged, irate, mad, livid.
  • Beautiful (adj) - Synonyms: stunning, gorgeous, lovely, attractive, charming.
  • Difficult (adj) - Synonyms: challenging, hard, complicated, complex, arduous.
  • Interesting (adj) - Synonyms: fascinating, engaging, intriguing, captivating, absorbing.
  • Sad (adj) - Synonyms: sorrowful, melancholy, heartbroken, despondent, dejected.
  • Smart (adj) - Synonyms: intelligent, clever, brilliant, sharp, astute.
  • Tired (adj) - Synonyms: exhausted, weary, fatigued, drained, spent.

Antonyms:
