The State Bank of India (SBI) has announced the recruitment of Probationary Officers (PO) for the year 2024-25. Eligibility Criteria

Before applying, ensure you fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

Age Limit (as on 01.12.2024)

  • Minimum Age: 21 years
  • Maximum Age: 30 years
  • Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable for certain categories as per the official notification.

Educational Qualification

  • Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
  • Candidates possessing integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 01.12.2024.
  • Those who are in the final year/semester of their graduation may also apply provisionally subject to meeting certain conditions as specified in the official notification.

  • Citizen of India

Selection Procedure

The selection process consists of three phases:

  1. Phase-I: Preliminary Examination: An online objective test consisting of English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability.
  2. Phase-II: Main Examination: An online objective test followed by a descriptive test. The objective test includes Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis & Interpretation, General/Economy/Banking Awareness, and English Language. The descriptive test assesses your English Language (Letter Writing & Essay).
  3. Phase-III: Interview: Candidates shortlisted in Phase-II will be called for an interview.

  • Candidates are advised to carefully read the official notification before applying.
  • Ensure you meet all the eligibility criteria before applying.
  • The application process is online. No other mode of application will be accepted.
  • Candidates need to upload scanned copies of their photograph and signature as per the specifications mentioned in the notification.
